AUN-QA Field Assessment at UAD
In order to realize its vision of “Becoming an Internationally Recognized University, and Inspired by Islamic Values”, UAD has encouraged several of its study programs to take part in the AUN-QA certification. AUN-QA is an ASEAN level certification that aims to monitor the quality of study programs by taking measurements in a systematic, structured, and continuous manner.
From 3 to 7 May 2021, three UAD study programs, namely Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Guidance and Counseling, and Bachelor of Psychology, conducted an online AUN-QA assessment. 7 assessors performed the assessment, namely Prof. Dr. Clarita Carillo and Dr. Nguyen Huy Phuc for Pharmacy Study Program, Prof. Dr. Yahya Md. Sam and Professor Isabel Pefianco Martin for Guidance and Counseling Study Program, and Prof. Dr. Wyona C. Patalinghug, Assoc., Prof. Dr. Pham Van Tuan and Dr Luerat Anuratpanich for Psychology Study Program.
The activity was started with an opening followed by a discussion with faculty managers, study programs, university and faculty level academic staffs, students, alumni and graduates. In addition, the assessor team also observed all facilities that support live streaming learning. Various stages of preparation were conducted before the visitation. One of them was the Readiness Test to ensure that the information system at UAD is able to facilitate the online assessment process. With long and continuous preparations, the entire series of visitations were well conducted.
