Background:

Quality implementation at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan needs support from all parties. The process of improving the quality system can come from anyone who feels ownership and desires improvement of the quality system within the institution. In order to build a quality culture, the Office of Quality Assurance of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan will organize the “Quality Assurance Innovation Competition within the Environment of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.” The competition will select 5 quality assurance innovations that can be implemented as winners and will serve as models for quality improvement and development at UAD.

A. Participant Requirements:

1. Participants may be individuals or teams with a maximum of 3 members.
2. Each participant can submit a maximum of 2 quality implementation innovations.
3. Participants must fill out the Registration Form provided at the Office of Quality Assurance of UAD or can be downloaded from the website: devel.uad.ac.id/bpm. One form for each proposal.
4. Participants must submit the “Registration Form” along with the “Quality Implementation Innovation” to the Office of Quality Assurance of UAD during office hours or via email: bpm@uad.ac.id.

B. Criteria for Quality Implementation Innovation:

The innovation proposed should be in the form of a design: improvement of work mechanisms, system improvement, new work mechanisms, new work systems, new systems, or other concepts that can enhance organizational performance.

1. It should be a new (original) idea or a product developed from existing systems.
2. It should be implementable within a unit of work or a specific activity process.
3. It should provide benefits in improving quality at UAD.
4. It should align with the values ​​of UAD.

C. Assessment Components:

1. Originality of Concept (Novelty)
2. Feasibility and Ease of Implementation
3. Benefit of Concept for Improvement of Existing Systems/Procedures

D. Important Dates:

1. Registration forms can be downloaded from the website: devel.uad.ac.id/bpm or obtained from the attachment of the announcement.
2. Submission of entries starts from June 30, 2012, and no later than July 15, 2012, at 17.00 WIB via email: bpm@uad.ac.id.

E. Appreciation:

The winners will receive appreciation in the form of:

Cash prizes:

1st Place: Rp 2,000,000 2nd Place: Rp 1,500,000 3rd Place: Rp 1,000,000 4th and 5th Place respectively: Rp 750,000 each

Certificate of appreciation from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, which will be presented at the time of the Closing Ceremony, to be determined later.
